About Me

Mechanical engineer building practical robotic and manufacturing systems.

My background started with a B.S.E. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University, where I also played 4 years of Division 1 Men's Volleyball. Now, I am continuing my education at UC Berkeley as an M.Eng. student in the Mechanical and Robotics Engineering department. I have industry experience with product design at Toyota and EV manufacturing at Xos and Tesla. I mainly work where mechanical systems meet software: modeling robot behavior, designing electromechanical systems in CAD, wiring embedded hardware, and turning early ideas into measurable test platforms.

I like problems with moving parts: sensors, mechanisms, controller behavior, imperfect data, and the practical details that decide whether a system actually works.

How I approach engineering

I start by making the system measurable, then use logs, simulations, and physical tests to see what is really happening.
I am comfortable crossing disciplines: CAD, embedded firmware, control loops, robot simulation, and data analysis.
I care about clear tradeoffs, especially when mechanical constraints, software timing, and real hardware behavior collide.
